Fixing economics to handle overabundance in a natural way can let us eliminate the global job/ecology clash at its very roots. The vast waste of "consumerism" would no longer be necessary. A bi-polar economic paradigm is proposed to replace today's fake free-market ideal. In the new paradigm truly free markets would be able to function unhindered where they function well (for whatever is truly in short supply), but they would be recognized as much too costly where they cannot, and do not, function freely (for anything our technology permits us to overproduce). This approach removes the need to grow just to create jobs whose products we don't really need, and so a future with hope becomes possible for the next millennium.

The 65 year old clashes between Relativity and Quantum theory (in essence the Einstein-Podolski-Rosen, and later Bell, paradoxes) are resolved by explicitly recognizing that continuity and instantaneous existence at a distance in space-time are pure mathematical concepts, idealizations, with limits to their physical meaning.
